Eagles’ Wings 2020 is all about encouragement and so many of us need it. We believe God has enabled us to establish these first four outreach initiatives. Each one provides direct, personal and thoughtful encouragement to others and can be done on a regular basis.
Outreach Projects
The Postcard Project
The Postcard Project is a great way to encourage someone in your life in a meaningful, personal way. We’re sending FREE postcards to the people in your life that need a reminder of how much they are loved, thought of, and prayed for. See how you can get involved!
The Phone Call Project
This was designed for those who love to chat by phone (and was inspired by my 84 year old mother). Our volunteers will check in on them, provide a gentle listening ear, share the goodness of God, scripture and pray with them. Our Phone Call Team is ready to encourage you, your friends and/or loved ones.
The Pen Pal Project
Everyone needs a friend. This project provides just that and is easy to sign up. Our volunteer pen pals will cultivate friendships and share things in common, family memories, the goodness of God, scripture and prayer.
Adoption / Widows
Our heart for orphans has led us to focus on adoption aid and education as our ministry focus. If you are considering adoption or want to know how you can help families to are seeking to adopt, we are here to provide support and to help build those relationships. Not all are called to adopt, but we are all called to support widows and orphans.
