My husband and I recently took a road trip to Oregon and California. We live in Arizona, so we drove up Interstate 5 and back down the infamous coastal Highway 1.
We drove through desert to mountains to the Pacific Ocean. We saw so many trees – tall, short, cactus, palms, redwood, spruce, pine. We were greeted by so many bodies of water – rivers, lakes, creeks and the ocean. Much of it appeared to be untouched by humans. It was so majestic, peaceful, serene that words can’t describe it. I felt so very small and awed by God’s beauty.
One thing for sure is God was there in every setting and scene we encountered. He created every tree we saw, every stream, every living thing. He cares for every little bird in those trees and fish in the water. But what He cares for so much more than that is you and me.
